Where we've been...
In the Fall of 2007, the dream for EPIC Church began to develop in the heart of Lead Pastor Bobby Hawk. Within twelve months a team of gifted individuals had moved into the area in preparation for the launch of EPIC Church. The timeline was determined and the location was nailed down. EPIC Church would start having weekly services at the Pharaoh Theater in downtown Independence beginning on Sunday, January 4th, 2009. One year later, in January of 2010, God provided EPIC Church with a brand new facility to house services and ministry.
Where we're headed...
EPIC Church will continue to reach pre-churched and de-churched people through the EPIC Experience. As EPIC Church moves into it's second year of ministry, the vision will still be the same: to be a multi-cultural and multi-generational church in the KC metro area that exists to make Jesus famous, one life at a time. However, the vision doesn't stop there. Through aggressive church planting and global missions, EPIC Church will become a sending center to reach our nation and our world.
